Criteria for use: Clients have a terminal or life-threatning illness or be recently bereaved. Both adults and children welcome.

Description: Hospice Vaughan is a visiting hospice that offers practical assistance, emotional support, respite care, transportation to appointments, telephone counselling in crisis situations, respite care, ongoing bereavement support, and referral services. This hospice also provides adult grief support groups, individual grief counselling, a monthly drop-in support group, and a lending library. In addition, we also offer the "Hands of Hope": a homework club and support group for children who are grieving the loss of a loved one. We have a Day Respite Program, "Caring Hands" for those with a life-threatning or terminal illness at the center every Wednesday.
